Job DescriptionJob Description

Duties and responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records and financial statements for multiple clients. Client industries include nonprofit, construction, government contractors, real estate investors and service based businesses

• Manage daily and monthly accounting activities – payables, preparing journal entries, customer invoicing, and reconciling accounts.

• Month end processing: review and prepare balance sheet and bank reconciliations, maintain of fixed assets schedule, analysis of profit and loss statements, customized reporting for boards and other stakeholders

• Oversee and review accounting work of staff – reviewing financial statements and financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Prepare payroll via ADP Run – ensuring timesheets are entered into EZ Labor, reviewing timesheets for errors, running reports, preparing monthly entries, and assisting clients with any issues.

• Assist clients with annual audits through preparation of audit schedules and documentation and responding to auditor queries.

• Manage and train staff for various accounting tasks – payroll process, preparing checks, etc.

• Establish and maintain close relationships with clients.
