Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Mechanic Foreman to lead our maintenance team in servicing a diverse range of equipment, from lawn mowers to diesel tractors. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of hands-on experience in equipment maintenance and repair, along with strong leadership skills. A bilingual (English/Spanish) speaker and candidates with a military background are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of mechanics in the repair and maintenance of various equipment, including but not limited to lawn mowers, diesel tractors, and other agricultural machinery.

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on a wide range of equipment.

  • Ensure all maintenance work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and manufacturer guidelines.

  • Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks to ensure minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.

  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts used and hours worked.

  • Provide training and guidance to junior mechanics, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

  • Communicate effectively with management, providing regular updates on equipment status and any issues that arise.

  • Ensure the maintenance shop is organized, well-stocked, and adheres to safety regulations.

  • Assist in ordering parts, tools, and supplies needed for maintenance tasks.

  • Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment to reduce the likelihood of unexpected breakdowns.

  • Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner and meets quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair, with a focus on lawn mowers, tractors, and other agricultural machinery.

  • Proven leadership experience in a mechanic or maintenance role.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.

  • Military background is a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Must be punctual and reliable.
