Job Summary

As a Foreman I - Pipefitter, you will oversee the assembly, installation, and repair of piping systems in commercial and industrial facilities. Your expertise will ensure compliance with construction procedures, OSHA guidelines, and electrical and hydraulic system knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare material take-offs, layouts, and isometric sketches from blueprints and specifications.
  • Participate in job planning, manage construction schedules, and ensure adequate staffing.
  • Coach and mentor craft workers, schedule activities, and verify staff certifications.
  • Inspect work in progress and completed work to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Eliminate construction hazards and perform safety observations.
  • Coordinate material and tool placement, and maintain tool inventory.
  • Verify delivered materials and equipment match approved submittals.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • Technical training or an Associate's Degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience as a Foreman Pipefitter.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
  • Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints.
