SUMMARY
This position provides comprehensive administrative support to the Operations team and serves as the production liaison between Operations, Customer Service, and Sales.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are essential, though additional responsibilities may be assigned:
- Assist with cycle counting and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Collect data and generate daily, monthly, and quarterly operational metrics and reports.
- Serve as a liaison between Operations, Engineering, Finance, Sales, and other internal departments as needed.
- Manage part number creation and bill of materials (BOM).
- Review, enter, and analyze material movement transactions, along with handling miscellaneous receipts and issue tickets.
- Use the ERP system daily to perform inventory tasks with accuracy and attention to detail under tight deadlines.
- Report quality issues, process concerns, or equipment and material problems to the supervisor.
- Create analytical spreadsheets to evaluate business needs.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support operational enhancements.
- Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed.
- Adhere to Safety, 5S, ISO, and other corporate programs and procedures.
- Consistent and dependable attendance is critical for team performance and productivity.
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
To successfully perform this job, an individual must be able to meet each essential duty satisfactorily. The following qualifications are required:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with precision under tight deadlines.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents like safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Capable of reading, comprehending, and discussing instructions, correspondence, and memos. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, and apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.Reasoning Ability:
Ability to understand and follow written, oral, or diagram instructions. Capable of solving problems involving several variables in standardized situations and drawing valid conclusions based on collected data.Computer Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Prior experience with ERP software is preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical requirements of this position include occasional standing, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching. Regular activities include walking, sitting, talking, and using hands. The role may involve occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds. Extensive computer use and phone communication are required. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment is typically moderate in noise level. The client emphasizes that all employees significantly contribute to the organization’s success and are expected to offer support wherever needed to achieve overall objectives.
Compensation and Schedule:
- Pay: $22 per hour
- Regular Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Training Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
