WE ARE A SECURITY, COMMUNICATION AND TECHNOLOGY COMPANY.
For the past 30+ years, we have been providing video intercoms, alarms, CCTV cameras, access cards, elevator controllers, exit buttons, and security scenarios to residential buildings in the Tri-State area. We have an existing analogue system, plus an IP 2-wire SIP system and over 150 buildings in which these systems are installed.
WE SEEK a skilled technician immediately who can join our small, and dedicated team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE:
- An understanding of analogue and IP video intercom systems
- IT small business network needs
- On-site experience repairing or installing low-voltage security systems, cameras, handling exit buttons, card access, programming, and some circuit board installation
- Knowledge of IP and SIP door entry systems
- Knowledge of wireless routers, access points, converters, card readers, Cat5/6
- CCTV install and repair (DVR/NVR)
- Meeting and communicating with building staff
- Knowledge of PPT and Microsoft Office
- Ability to use hand tools when fixing small circuit boards (some hands-on circuitry assembly)
- Networking experience (know how to terminate Ethernet cable, set router, trouble-shoot remote access with Radmin, etc.
- Help with Inventory management
- Knowledge of Network device, IP cameras and set-up and repair
- Ability to problem solve with both analogue and IP systems
- Knowledge of door contacts, Magnetic locks, Electric Strikes
- Ability to trouble shoot Intercom System problems, including intercoms and door stations
- DESIRE to learn
GOOD TO HAVE:
- OSHA 30 hour construction safety certificate (comfortable with ladders)
- APEX or another advanced technical school certificate
- Any 4-year or Community College degree
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years job experience
- Local employee references
