Key Responsibilities
- Install and route various types of cables including CAT 5, CAT 6, and CAT6A in commercial construction settings.
- Terminate communication jacks and manage the dressing and termination of distribution frames, including 66 or 110 blocks and patch panels.
- Perform rack and stack operations, including assembling server racks and patch panels in telecommunications closets.
- Demonstrate proficiency in fiber optic terminations, including SC and LC connectors, as well as both fusion and mechanical splicing techniques.
- Interpret and understand blueprints to ensure accurate installation and compliance with specifications.
