Our team of skilled professionals is committed to excellence, and we are seeking a motivated Drafting Assistant to join our growing team.

Role Overview:
As a Professional Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our design and permitting teams. You will be responsible for creating permit sets, engineering drawings, and documentation to ensure our projects are completed efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create preliminary design sketches for conceptual analysis.
  • Develop engineering drawings and designs for conduit schedules.
  • Assemble complete documentation packages for permit sets.
  • Verify that drawings meet specifications, codes, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in developing technical reports for engineers.
  • Submit engineering plans to public authorities.
  • Meet and discuss plans with city and county plan reviewers and officials.

Experience Needed:

  • Proficiency in operating Auto- CAD software and Bluebeam Revu.
  • Ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Design teams.
  • Excellent time management skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an EAC/ABET-accredited program
  • Four years of acceptable, progressive, and verifiable work experience
  • Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam and the Principles & Practice of Engineering exam
  • Licensed by a state board of registration
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
