Location:  Santa Rosa, California 95403

Duration:  05 Months Contract with possible extension

Shift/Schedule:  4:00 PM - 12:30 AM

Pay Rate/Range: $22.50/hr on w2 w/o benefits.

Job Description:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field required. Previously lab experience preferred.
  • Read, understand, and follow written Standard Operating Procedures
  • Correctly identify analysed samples and verify the accuracy of sequence for each batch
  • Process acquired instrument data and generated appropriate reports
  • Conduct the first review of GC/MS and/or LC/MS/MS analytical data by each assay SOP
  • Transcribe or upload results to the LIS for final review and certification
  • Maintain proper and adequate Chain of Custody batch documentation
  • Communication with supervisors and prompt escalation of emerging challenges
  • Maintain and promote a safe healthful environment for self and co-workers Required Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, or a related field
  • At least one year of experience working in an analytical lab.
  • The ability to work safely with biological specimens, chemicals, equipment, and instruments.
