The Atlantic Group has partnered with a global consumer product organization in the Broomfield, CO area. They have an immediate need for a Logistics Coordinator to join their team. This position is a full-time contract role with the opportunity to become permanent based on performance.

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

The logistics inventory control specialist will be responsible for reviewing and developing insights from various data fields relevant to raw materials, packaging and finished good materials stored and shipped through the HOD network. Specific areas include overage/shortage/damage claims management, transaction failure resolution and inventory reconciliations.

 

This position will interface with various internal Operations teams (plant, warehouse, planning, quality, transportation, and customer service) as well as external 3rd party contract manufacturers & 3rd party owned logistics providers.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Perform inventory reconciliations across quantity, location & status of materials between ERP, WMS & quality program.

-Manage system failure issues to ensure integrity and timely flow of transactional data and systemic processing.

-Manage OSD process and execute required inventory transactions using ERP.

-Monitor key performance indicators to measure finished good inventory and OSD (Overage, Shortage & Damage) claims.

-Identify and participate in implementation of new process and technology where necessary to improve accuracy and performance.

-Be a liaison for logistics operations to the rest of the supply chain. Improve supply chain performance through effective cross functional communication.

 

Education and Experience:

 -Associate degree or equivalent experience

-1 - 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain or Order to Cash functions preferred

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

-Intermediate skill in Microsoft Office Suite

-Ability to work independently and make informed, data-driven decisions.

-Be able to understand business process and IT tools that support that process.

-Ability to work with internal and external teams to improve process.

-Excellent communication skills, verbal and non-verbal.
