Managing Club operations requires efficiency in our processes and procedures. There are multiple tasks that need to be completed in a timely manner; therefore, the Club Manager may delegate tasks for the Assistant Manager to complete. An additional duty for the Assistant is to coordinate events.
In the absence of the Club Manager, the Club Assistant Manager is in charge of Club operations and assumes all responsibilities until the return of the Club Manager. Among the duties of the Club Assistant Manager shall:
 Be familiar with the Club Manager duties, use discretionary authority and make good management decisions within the scope of responsibility determined by the HCBD to ensure the Club is operated in a professional and profitable manner.
 Work under direct supervision of the Club Manager and the HCBD President.
 Maximize banquet revenue by creating and implementing sales plans for weddings, banquets, meetings, presentations, and party events.
 Work a minimum of 40 hours a week, ensuring that there is always management representation during business hours.
 Be physically and visually present in and about the dining area during dining hours. Interface with customers to address specific questions or complaints that may arise concerning the food, service, and/or other matters.
 Have working knowledge of Toast POS system.
 Ensure proper cash management with service staff. Assist with opening and closing procedures in POS, running reports, and daily sales cash and credit management and reporting, and daily reconciliation of Pull-Tab fundraiser.
 Lead banquet staff during events.
 Develop / prepare contracts for all banquets / weddings.
 Build and maintain an events prospect database, track all communications and activities with those prospects, and record all sales made.
 Work with Club and Kitchen Managers to determine menus and pricing for events, as well as coordinating for the staff who will support the event.
 Help develop banquet sales budgets and marketing plans.

Physical Demands
 Continual walking during shift.
 Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
 Occasional bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete tasks throughout the club.

Basic Qualifications:
 Knowledge of bar/restaurant club management.
 Knowledge of state and county alcohol, gaming, health, and food regulations.
 High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
 Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
 Must be 21 years of age or older.

Desired Qualifications:
 4-year college degree preferred.
 Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online software.
 Working knowledge of Toast payroll software.
 Knowledge of Federal and State payroll regulations.
