We are currently expanding our team in Indianapolis, Indiana, and are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-focused Data Entry Pharmacy Technician who will be responsible for accurately entering prescription information into our database, assisting pharmacists with the preparation and distribution of medications, and ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in pharmacy practices, be proficient in data entry, and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter prescription and patient data into the pharmacys management system.
  • Verify insurance and prescription information.
  • Work closely with pharmacists and other team members to ensure prescriptions are filled and prepared for pickup or delivery in a timely manner.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPPA regulations.
  • Assist with inventory control, including stocking and ordering pharmacy supplies.
  • Respond to inquires from patients and healthcare providers in a professional and courteous manner.

Shift:

  • Monday-Friday: 9:00AM 5:30PM or 10:00AM 6:30PM

Qualifications:

  • Active IN Pharmacy Technician license
  • Previous data entry experience
  • Long Term Care experience a plus
  • QS/1 or DocuTrack experience a plus
