As a flooring Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the planning, execution, and completion of various flooring projects. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and at least one year of experience in the construction industry. You will collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that all aspects of the project run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and scheduling of construction activities and resources.
  • Coordinate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and submittals.
  • Communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members, to provide updates and resolve issues.
  • Monitor project progress and maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and costs incurred.
  • Support the project manager in tracking budgets and schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations on site.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and minutes.
  • Assist in procurement processes, including obtaining quotes and managing supplier relationships.
  • Help manage project closeout activities, including punch lists and final inspections.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction project coordination or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and terminology.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in the construction industry is a plus.
