Position Summary:  This position is a key member of the practice management at The Center for Neurology, Headache & Integrative Medicine, overseeing the operations of the physician practice.   This position is responsible for oversight of utilization management and daily business operations.  Manages the financial; operational, administrative and regulatory aspects of the physician/facility.  Ensures HIPAA compliance and Risk Management at the practice/facility level. 

Additional Job Functions:

  • Provide support to practice staff as appropriate.
  • Execute work on assigned tasks including updating EHR records.
  • Ensure accuracy in medical records and documentation review.
  • Remaining OSHA and HIPAA compliant.
  • Understanding and proper execution of patient Personal Health Information updates.

 

Special Knowledge, Qualifications and Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities.

  • 3 years of supervisory experience including 1 year of customer service-related experience
  • Associates degree in healthcare-related field or equivalent experience
  • Neurology experience preferred
  • Ability to organize, assign, and schedule workload
  • Microsoft Office Experience required
  • Ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information
  • Must communicate logically and clearly both orally and in writing
