Coleman Chavez & Associates LLP is a Workers' Compensation Defense Law Firm that is currently seeking a Full Time Data Entry/File Clerk to support our Roseville, CA location.

We offer a comprehensive benefit package that includes Health, Dental and Life Insurance; PTO; Sick pay; 401k and 401k Roth; and Holiday pay.

This is not a remote position.

We are looking for a Data Entry Clerk to type information into our database from paper documents. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and a fast typist with a keen eye for detail. You will report to a data manager or another senior data team member. Understanding of data confidentiality principles is compulsory. The company will rely on you for having accurate and updated data that are easily accessible through a digital database. .

Data Entry/File Clerk will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

· Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation documents

· Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat

· Prior legal experience

· E-filing using EAMS.

· Experience with automated, paperless software system

· Heavy emphasis on electronic files

· Assist with initial file set up of new claims and update database

· May provide back up support and assistance to other staff members

· Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instruction.

· Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.

· Applicant must be able to lift 15lbs (Mandatory Requirement)

· Excellent grammar and communication skills

· Must have a strong work ethic, be dependable and have a professional and positive attitude.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

· Dependable, work independently under minimal supervision.

· Must have reliable transportation and provide proof of a valid California’s Driver’s License and current vehicle insurance.

· Occasionally over time may be necessary.
