Job DescriptionJob Description

Are you a seasoned Escrow Officer seeking an opportunity to join a dynamic team in the Cleveland area? Look no further We are currently seeking an Escrow Officer with 3+ years of experience to join our company.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Closing Disclosure , ALTA settlement statements, and real estate closing documents with accuracy.
  • Determine escrow requirements by reviewing contracts, title commitments, and lender instructions.
  • Resolve title defects and satisfy existing liens and encumbrances against properties.
  • Complete closing transaction documents by assembling documents, reviewing papers with parties, explaining procedures, and ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Satisfy all funding requirements prior to depositing and disbursing funds.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain positive, clear communication with internal and external customers.
  • Work independently and within a team structure, escalating matters when necessary.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred; prior knowledge of Qualia is a plus.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Escrow Officer.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate transactions and escrow procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and escrow software.
  • Current Escrow Officer license preferred.
  • Notary Public certification required.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to work with the public.
