Responsibilities:

For Registered Nurses (RN):

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Coordinate and participate in patient and family education to promote wellness and recovery.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of care plans based on individual patient needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

For Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN):

  • Administer medications and perform nursing interventions under the supervision of an RN.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of nursing care plans.
  • Provide patient and family education on medication administration and self-care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care.

For Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA):

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.
  • Provide support to patients and their families, promoting a positive and comforting environment.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized patient care area.
  • Follow established protocols for infection control and safety.

Qualifications:

  • RN/LPN: Current Pennsylvania state licensure.
  • CNA: Certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting (preferred but not required for CNAs).
  • Pennsylvania State Clearance (or willing to obtain)
  • CPR or BLS certification.
  • PPD (2-Step Skin Test or QuantiFERON Blood Test)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
