​Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma (required). Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Microbiology, Electronics, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience: 2+ years prior B2B sales, customer service, or data entry experience (preferred).
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record (required)
  • Experience with PowerPoint presentations (a plus)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Outgoing personality
  • Ability to build rapport with customers and co-workers
  • Ability to prioritize, and excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, written and verbal
  • Desire to make sales their career and eventually move to outside sales
  • U.S. work authorization (required)

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and email business customers written quotations
  • Enter purchase orders into computer system and follow-up
  • Process requests for sales reps and distributors (literature, demos, etc.)
  • Maintain and prepare reports, as requested
  • Make cost-justifiable product recommendations
  • Communicate with customers via email and telephone, and route more complicated questions to our Applications Engineers
  • Become a product knowledge expert
  • A comprehensive training program is provided
  • Must follow procedures established in compliance with ISO 9001
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to type and work efficiently on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
  • Sitting, standing, or walking for extended periods is required
