Maintenance Technician (mechanical or electrical)

Love's Park, IL

$28 - $38 an hour

Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a large client in the manufacturing industry looking to hire a Maintenance Technician This role is for 1st and 2nd shift opportunities and involves mechanical or electrical repair on equipment/machinery in a warehouse (manufacturing) setting.

Responsibilities:

  • The maintenance technicians will help with the mechanical repair, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of their equipment.

Or:

  • Electrical Tech will be doing electrical troubleshooting, and both performing preventative maintenance

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years industrial maintenance experience

  • Strong mechanical aptitude

  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment (CNC/ machine tool environment would be great)

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and schematics

  • Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems

  • Ability to use common hand tools and use multi-meter test instruments

Or:

·       2+ years industrial maintenance experience

·       Ability to read/ interpret Electrical Schematics

·       Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits

·       Knowledge and understanding of PLC/ CNC theories

·       Understanding of lock-out-tag-out/ L.O.T.O

·       Ability to use testing instruments and basic hand tools

·       Understanding of AC/ DC motors
