Position Description:

The Automated Optical Inspection (AOl) Operator will scan cores and panels on our test equipment. In addition, the operator will verify defects and determine the disposition of the work. An operator will work with machines that scan cores for defects, and machines that act as rework stations, which view defects detected by other equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Check operations of AOI machine using test panel for calibration and proper operation

  • Scan and verify cores and panel and comparing to customer gerber data
  • Read and interpret work instructions to verify counts, quality and all previous operations were completed
  • Conform and follow all ISO/AS9100 requirements
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment while follow the HCI specs
  • Complete and fill out proper paperwork in accordance to customer specifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to lift 15 lbs without staining
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Proficient computer knowledge
  • Ability to read blue prints a plus
  • 1 year manufacturing experience preferred, PCB experience a plus
