Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing various types of flooring, including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tile. The Flooring Installer will be responsible for measuring and cutting flooring materials, preparing the installation area, and installing flooring according to specifications and building codes. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Measure and cut flooring materials to fit installation area
  • Prepare subfloor and ensure it is clean, level, and dry
  • Install flooring according to manufacturer instructions and industry standards
  • Inspect flooring for defects or damage before installation
  • Ensure flooring is installed securely and without gaps or imperfections
  • Clean up installation area and remove all debris
  • Communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction with the installation

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Flooring Installer or similar role
  • Proficiency in installing hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tile flooring
  • Knowledge of flooring materials, tools, and techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret floor plans and blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
