Responsibilities

Project Engineer

  •  Work with sales and engineering to develop designs that meet the customer’s functional and budgetary requirements.
  • Generate functional and connection-level AutoCAD drawings for audio, video, lighting, control, and communications systems.
  • Create Engineering Design Packages (to include audio, video, lighting, AV control and networking schematics, materials lists, programming, etc.)
  • Responsible for setup of analog and digital equipment including DSP, video processing, lighting control and network switch configuration.
  • Responsible for integration, and installation of A/V control system programs.
  • Responsible for interpretation and re-draw of consultant drawings and specs
  • Oversee/execute in-shop rack assembly and maintain quality control.
  • Support the installation team in troubleshooting AV systems.
  • Other duties as required or assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Familiar with Audio, Video and theatrical lighting systems and practices
  • Familiar with networking and able to configure network switches and peripherals
  • Proficient in AutoCad
  • CTS/CTSD certification.
  • Five years of Broadcast and/or AV infrastructure design and installation experience.
  • Familiarity with QSC Qsys, AMX, Crestron and Extron control systems.
  • Broadcast and/or AV systems deployment experience including installation, commissioning and end user training.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings (architectural, mechanical, and electrical systems ) and related documentation.
  • Be a good person, ready to join a hard working team
