A local company out of Plant City, FL that manufactures transfer trailers, dump trailers, and suspensions is hiring a Facility and Grounds Maintenance Worker This role is responsible for cleaning the production shop and assisting with grounds maintenance as needed.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Uses basic hand tools such as a measuring tape, lawn mower, weed eater, and chainsaws
  • Conducts the cutting of grass, sweeps floors, and empties garbage
  • Ensures all lights, and machines are properly shut down
  • Learns and operates equipment in a safe manner, such as cranes and forklifts
  • Cross-trains by moving to other work areas to support production needs
  • Ensures work area/department is secure, clean, and properly shut down at the end of each workday
  • Maintains equipment and tools
  • Performs other job duties as assigned


Who We’re Looking For

  • Highschool diploma or GED equivalent
  • Prior janitorial or sanitation experience required
  • Ability to read a tape measure, engineering drawings, and computer literacy
  • Physically able to frequently sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, sit or stand for long periods of time, and lift 50+ lbs


What You Can Expect

  • $16.00 - $18.00/hr, depending on experience
  • Regular schedule of Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 4:30pm
