This is a hands-on, roll up your sleeves opportunity that requires a unique skill set for success.

The Burge Team is a privately held life and health insurance broker with agents across the United States. Full and Part-Time Remote positions. Some of our team members work 25 to 40 hours a week, depending on the number of agents they work with.

The pay rate starts at $20/hour with 5+ years of experience. We consider our team members for regular pay rate increases, every 6 months, between the range of $20-25/hour.

Your role is to build relationships within our firm and new agents to execute on deliverables while seamlessly pivoting recruiting strategies and campaigns to identify business critical resources.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Coordinate executive communications, including taking calls, responding to emails, and interfacing with agents.
  • Willingness to learn and use a CRM and Discord.
  • Calendar, inbox, and file management.
  • Prepare internal and external documents for team members and industry partners.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments and manage travel itineraries.
  • Arrange events to take place outside of the workplace, such as golf tournaments, fund-raising events, and staff appreciation events.
  • Maintain an organized electronic filing system.
  • Uphold a strict level of confidentiality.
  • Develop and sustain a level of professionalism among staff and clientele.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check.
