Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced and personable staff member to function as Patient Care Coordinator and Medical Assistant. This unique position requires a blend of administrative excellence, patient-focused care, and medical support skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care Coordination:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providing exceptional service and addressing any concerns or needs.
  • Coordinate patient consultations, follow-up appointments, and surgical scheduling.
  • Provide patients with pre-operative and post-operative instructions, ensuring they are well-informed and comfortable.
  • Assist with patient education regarding procedures, products, and care plans.

Medical Assistance:

  • Assist the surgeon during procedures and examinations, ensuring a sterile and organized environment.
  • Prepare patients for treatments, including taking medical histories and recording vital signs.
  • Manage and maintain medical supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stocked and in working order.
  • Perform minor clinical tasks and assist with patient preparation for various cosmetic treatments.

Qualifications:

  • 10 years working experience
  • >5 years with a previous employer
  • Experience in a similar role within a medical or cosmetic surgery practice is preferred, but not required.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and empathetically with patients.
  • Excellent people skills, ideally developed in previous customer service oriented work settings
  • Trustworthy, dependable, and of high moral character
  • Passion for aesthetics, health and beauty
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent experience preferred.
