Accounting Manager/ Senior Accounting

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCentury Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Accounting Manager/ Senior Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $100,000 to $150,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare all equity related accounting activity including stock-based compensation, equity rollforwards, and average share calculations.
  • Serve as liaison with external auditors, internal auditors, financial planning and financial reporting teams.
  • Assist in the determination of the accounting treatment, review all income statement and balance sheet activities
  • Review corporate-level accounting activity including payroll and general & administrative expenses.
  • Review property tax bills for reasonableness, oversee payment process, and calculate related expense.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
  • 4-5 years of experience (Big 4 public accounting or publicly-traded organization).
  • Knowledge of US GAAP; knowledge of real estate industry GAAP is preferred.
  • Proficient of Microsoft Office (Excel).
Experience:
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and leadership skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
