This is a rare opportunity for a Certified Medical Assistant to join a well known employer based clinic in La Crosse WI ASAP.
This will be a contract from now until the end of August 2024 with the opportunity to extend.
Salary range of $22-24 per hour depending on experience.
You MUST have a valid Certified Medical Assistant License with at least a year of experience as a CMA in a busy Family Practice or Urgent care. MUST be able to pass a drug screen. NO CBD or THC items are allowed along with a clear background check.
Duties include, but are not limited to, measurement of vital signs, phlebotomy, preparation of treatment rooms, assist at simple procedures, EKGs Drug Testing - UDS and BAT; injections and immunizations, follow-up telephone calls to patients and pharmacies; Point of Care Testing
Clinic has 3 FT primary care providers and 1 PT primary care provider
Patient Population: Well, acute and chronic care - ages 2+
