2nd Shift:  Mon - Fri, 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Job Description:

Snelling has an immediate opening for a Gate Guard in Louisville, KY. This position will be responsible for all facility security. The Gate Guard should be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude. Job duties include:

• Inspect incoming and outgoing vehicles for proper load content
• Log incoming and outgoing deliveries.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employee, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of building.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, or machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering.
• Answer telephone calls to take messages, answer questions, and provide information during non-business hours or when switchboard is closed.
