JQ Staffing Services is looking for an Environmental Health Safety Manager to help us ensure that we are in compliance with all industry and government regulations. In this role, you will audit the client worksite and follow up to ensure that the team has corrected any violations. This position is essential to the health of our employees and the company, so we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including those set by OSHA and the EPA
  • Conduct safety compliance audits
  • Follow up to make sure the team has corrected any workplace violations
  • Implement internal policies to support employee health and safety
  • Submit permit applications and renewals
  • Follow regulatory reporting requirements

Environmental Health Safety Manager Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety (preferred).
  • Knowledge of industry regulations
  • Manufacturing experience (strongly preferred)
  • Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish)
  • Organizational skills
