Medical Assistant Dermatology

Position Summary:
MoleSafe USA LLC is a nationally growing company that is seeking energetic and reliable team members with a strong background in dermatology to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional patient care skills, and a keen eye for detail.
This role involves assisting with total body photography procedures, patient preparation, and ensuring the highest standards of care and accuracy in dermatological assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
- Greet and prepare patients for total body photography sessions.
- Ensure patients are comfortable and informed about the procedures.
- Assist with patient positioning and ensure proper draping and privacy.
Clinical Support:
- Perform total body photography using specialized equipment.
- Ensure high-quality images are captured and properly documented in patient records.
- Manage and maintain photography equipment, ensuring it is clean and functioning properly.
Administrative Duties:
- Update and maintain accurate patient records in electronic health systems.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient follow-ups.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies as needed.
Patient Education:
- Provide patients with pre- and post-procedure instructions.
- Educate patients about skin care and dermatological health.
Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to all clinic protocols, including infection control and patient confidentiality.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and clinic policies.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program.
Experience: - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a dermatology clinic or similar setting.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) and medical imaging software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed.
- Manual dexterity to operate photography equipment and perform clinical tasks.
