Big Sur Construction LLC seeks a dedicated, experienced Mid-Level Construction Foreman to join our team. We are a growing company focused on constructing and maintaining a residential property in the beautiful Big Sur area. The ideal candidate will be bilingual, have a strong background in construction, and possess proven leadership skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise construction teams, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and according to project timelines.
  • Communicate effectively with both English and Spanish-speaking team members.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Interpret and execute detailed construction plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans, ensuring labor and resources are utilized effectively.
  • Provide training and guidance to crew members as needed.
  • Monitor job progress, address any issues or delays, and report them to management.
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site, ensuring all equipment is in proper working condition.
  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, good attitudes, and professional behavior among crew members.
  • Take direction from upper management and ensure all instructions are carried out accurately and promptly.
  • Handle any on-site emergencies or unforeseen issues that may arise.


Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of construction experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
  • Language: Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Skills: Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to manage and motivate a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Transportation: Must have reliable transportation and be able to commute to the Big Sur job site.
  • Work Ethic: A good attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • References: Must provide strong professional references.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
