Highway Construction-Jackson, TN Metro.

We are seeking dedicated Highway Construction GuardRail Foreman to join our team. This role involves a range of tasks including flagging, striping, repairing highways, roads, bridges, and installing crash guards. The position requires working in various conditions, including hot summers, and both day and night shifts to ensure the smooth and safe flow of traffic during construction activities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Perform striping and painting of highway lanes, ensuring accurate and visible markings.
  2. Install and repair guardrails and crash barriers to enhance roadside safety.
  3. Participate in flagging and traffic control duties to ensure the safety of fellow workers and the traveling public.
  4. Assist in the maintenance and repair of highways, roads, and bridge surfaces.
  5. Follow all safety protocols, including the use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  6. Work flexibly across day and night shifts as project demands require.

Job Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 3 year of experience in construction or related field.
  2. Preferably with specific experience in highway or road construction.
  3. Strong commitment to safety and familiarity with safety procedures.
  4. Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including exposure to high temperatures.
  5. Availability to work overtime, including nights and weekends as needed.
  6. Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.

Compensation:

  • Starting pay of $22 per hour, increasing up to $28 per hour based on experience in highway construction.
  • Overtime available.
