  • Repair & Maintenance:

    • Patch potholes, repair guardrails, highway markers, and snow fences.
    • Install or repair pipes and drainage structures to ensure proper water flow and road safety.

  • Maintenance:

    • Mow and clear brush along highways and roadsides.
    • Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment, 

  • Safety:

    • Set out signs and cones to divert traffic safely around work zones.
    • Flag motorists to ensure the safety of both the crew and the public.
    • Paint and maintain traffic control lines on road surfaces.

  • Landscaping:

    • Plant and trim trees along roadways.
    • Clear weeds and brush to maintain clean and safe road edges.

  • Other Duties:

    • Clean trash and debris from roadways and surrounding areas.
    • Install street signs and apply oil to road surfaces to ensure optimal road conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with highway work, including flagging, striping, and power tool operation.
  • Strong understanding of safety practices in a highway work environment.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and the public.
