Job DescriptionJob Description

What You'll Do:

  • Responsible for the testing of food samples using various analytical techniques and reporting results to operators or product developers during production.
  • Additionally, technician must be able to perform postproduction analytical testing on retain samples and report results using online data reporting system.
  • Duties Include:
    • Daily calibrations on analytical equipment and maintaining calibration records
    • Data interpretation and reporting of results during production trials
    • Analytical testing for water quality
    • Support Microbiology lab with sample collection, testing and data interpretation.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in a lab setting.
  • BS required. Preferred in Chemistry or Biological Sciences.
  • Required Job Skills:
    • Plan, set up and report postproduction results in a timely manner to product developers
    • Work in a group or closely with the scientists/developers responsible for the assigned projects and tasks.
  • Ability to:
    • Execute bench work under minimal supervision
    • Proactively and positively interact with cross functional groups to communicate out results during production and postproduction.
  • Must be:
    • Well organized, capture work details and demonstrate a food safety mindset
    • Proactive, reliable and self-motivated
    • Proficient in Microsoft word, Excel, Ppt.
