Construction Project Manager Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the project management team. This Position will work for multiple Commercial Construction Project Managers and requires the ability to multi-task. This candidate must exercise initiative and discretion in setting priorities to carry out all assignments. This candidate must have commercial construction experience in HVAC, Concrete, Electrical codes, Bids, PO Addendums, etc.

Skills Required:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with construction submittal processes
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Excellent time-management and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Overachieving attitude and enhanced work ethic
  • Experience with AIA contracts and software
  • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of submittals and POs
  • Knowledge of general construction industry
  • Ability to work in stressful situations
  • Experience in Excel, MS
Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Experience in the Construction field is strongly preferred along with experience creating contracts and subcontracts
  • Coordinate and support all areas of the project from start up to close out
  • Create, track and manage flow and distribution of submittals
  • Prepare the project close-out documentations
  • Preparation of owner change orders and other related documents directed by the project manager
  • Preparation of subcontractor documents, purchase orders and change orders
  • Preparation and distribution of RFI's to architects, owners, subs and superintendents
  • Entering information in database for projects
  •  American Institute of Architects experience preferred 
  • Maintain job file records
  • Field Phone calls
  • Any other tasks that are assigned
