Pharmacy Manager / Pharmacist in Charge Denver, CO

Start Date: August 19 Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Contract Duration: 2+ months (may require on-call, weekends, or after-hours availability)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PM/PIC to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have recent PIC experience, substantial inpatient experience, and an active Colorado license. This role involves both fulfilling PIC duties and participating in regular staffing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • PIC Duties:
    • Oversee patient care activities and ensure adherence to established protocols.
    • Serve as a resource and mentor for staff members, providing guidance and support.
    • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies.
  • Staffing Responsibilities:
    • Participate in daily staffing, providing high-quality care to patients.
    • Document patient care activities accurately and promptly.
    • Assist with administrative duties as needed to support the smooth operation of the unit.

Requirements:

  • Professional Experience:
    • PIC experience within the last year.
    • A minimum of 2 years of inpatient experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Licensure:
    • Active and clear Colorado license.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Flexibility to handle on-call duties, weekends, and after-hours work as needed.
