After School Teacher

We are looking to hire an after school teacher for our childcare program. The typical scheduled hours are Monday through Thursday from 2:00pm until 6:30pm and Fridays 2pm until 5:30pm; however you may be scheduled to come in earlier to float in other classrooms as necessary.
On teacher workdays and days where school is closed hours will be 8am until 5:30pm. During the summer you will be expected to work full time for camp as students will be out of school. You will be responsible for helping to distribute snacks, supervising outdoor play time as well as indoor play time, assisting with homework and some light cleaning in order to prepare for the next days activities. Lesson planning is a must.
Candidates must be able to drive and adhere to NCDHHS rules when it comes to transporting children.
We are looking for team players and additionally responsible applicants. We are looking for someone who has related work experience.
Requirements for first day of employment include a qualifying letter, physical, and TB test.
If applicant does not have BSAC certification then they will be required to attend the course after being hired.
