Our client is a non-profit. They seek a temp Junior Staff Accountant to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

  • Collect expense receipts and related transaction allocation recorded to Fund EZ
  • Prepare and batch cash receipts for deposits and post all cash receipts
  • Contribute to the monthly revenue reconciliation and perform daily bank reconciliation
  • Run month-end bank reconciliation reports for operating and payroll accounts
  • Produce annual reporting for all 1099 vendors and support the Controller during audit season
  • Complete any other department or agency-related duties or special projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 1+ years of accounting experience
  • Non-profit industry background preferred
  • Able to work cooperatively and collaboratively
  • Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Skilled in MS Office and Fund EZ
