Position Overview:

Brownco Construction Company is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Project Manager to join our team. This role focuses on ensuring the successful delivery of both small and large projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellence and building long-term partnerships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all phases of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  2. Prepare and review job estimates and forecasts for cost, size, and duration to meet or exceed profit margins.
  3. Utilize Bluebeam, Outlook, and Excel proficiently for project management tasks.
  4. Review contracts in collaboration with management to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  5. Maintain bidding and work schedules, including materials, Requests for Information (RFIs), Change Orders, and more.
  6. Review project plans, requirements, and specifications to ensure alignment with project goals.
  7. Coordinate with dispatchers, project engineers, superintendents, and foremen to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable project execution.
  8. Establish and nurture working relationships with owners, field personnel, clients, and subcontractors to foster long-term partnerships.
  9. Uphold and support company safety initiatives to create a secure work environment.
  10. Generate accurate construction reports throughout the project duration.
  11. Create schedules of values, submit billings, cost to complete reports, and forecast cash flow.
  12. Manage the finances and financial health of projects, ensuring sound financial practices and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction field, specifically in civil, concrete, and grading.
  • Proven experience in delivering large projects up to $10 million.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, specifications, and drawings.
  • Working knowledge of construction costs.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and reliability.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a relevant field (preferred).
  • Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or other relevant qualifications are a plus.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US.
