Compensation: $38.79 - $56.74/hr based on experience + $25,000 Sign-On Bonus

Schedule: Full-Time, 12-Hour Shifts (Weekend/Holiday Call Required)

Job Summary: Join our team as a Cardiovascular Cath Lab RN at a top-rated healthcare facility in Anchorage, AK. In this role, you will assist with invasive cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures, demonstrating your clinical expertise and commitment to patient care. You'll be an integral part of a team focused on delivering high-quality care in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with cardiac catheterizations, coronary interventions, EP device therapies, interventional radiology, neuro diagnostic/interventions, and endovascular procedures.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the team using SBAR for hand-off communication.
  • Manage patient care through all stages of the procedure, including transport, site preparation, sterile procedure, monitoring, and hemostasis.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records and complete all necessary documentation.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, organization, and the ability to perform well under stress.

Qualifications:

  • Current nursing license in good standing.
  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of Cath Lab experience required; 5 years of high acuity setting experience (e.g., ICU) will be considered.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
  • Experience with circulating, monitoring, and sedation medication (including mixing sedation drips) is necessary.
  • Mapping experience is not required (performed by a third-party company).

Additional Information:

  • Shift times: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour shifts).
  • Unit Details: 3 rooms, average 4-6 procedures per day.
  • Shift Differentials: Evening - $2.75/hr, Night - $4.65/hr, Weekend - $2.50/hr.
  • On-Call: $4.50/hr.
  • Certification Pay Benefit: Additional $1.00/hr for Techs and $2.00/hr for RNs with approved certifications.
