Job Description:

This role is a unique opportunity as we have installed a new production line. The spray dryer is a new process to dry liquid milk into dry milk powder. The person that we are looking for must have technical expertise and ability to operate and maintain this process. The process includes Robotic Unloader, Conveyors, Extruder and Baler, Evaporator Vessel, Drying Chamber, Associated piping and Process instrumentation. The operation and plant processes are controlled by PLC. A thorough understanding of industrial electrical systems and troubleshooting of these systems is necessary. This person will also need to possess mechanical skills to troubleshoot and maintain the operations. This person must maintain the day-to-day operations and assume the responsibility for maintaining the physical plant assets under the direction of the Maintenance Manager in such a way as to provide optimum equipment efficiency, up-time, and safety.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a maintenance plan to optimize plant operating efficiency and safety

· Complete all maintenance duties as laid out in the Preventative Maintenance Plan (PMP)

· Complete all service requests as assigned by the Maintenance Manager in a timely manner

· Develop and maintain parts inventory to support PMP and efficient plant operations

· Order parts as needed.

· Coordinate special projects as assigned by the Plant Manager & VP of Operations

· Develop, implement, and manage a maintenance plan for the building systems (i.e. HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roofing , etc.)

· Assess/Troubleshoot/Service operation equipment and building systems

· Assist with new construction as needed by the Plant Manager & VP of Operations

· Maintain and monitor all maintenance reports and equipment manuals in an organized and efficient manner

· Operate equipment as needed
