Job Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop and maintain construction schedules.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Site Management:
- Supervise daily construction activities.
- Monitor work progress and ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Address any quality issues promptly and effectively.
Safety Management:
- Promote and enforce site safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct safety inspections and meetings.
- Investigate and report safety incidents, implementing corrective actions.
Communication and Coordination:
- Serve as the primary point of contact.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other professionals.
- Communicate project progress, issues, and changes to field and operations team members.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and supervise site personnel and subcontractors.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
- Prepare regular progress reports for management and clients.
- Document project changes, issues, and resolutions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of (2) years of commercial construction experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Computer skills: word, excel, procore
- Valid Drivers License
