Job DescriptionJob Description

Function:

The Quality Administrator creates, updates and maintains quality records and documents to ensure traceability and availability per customer requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drafting inspection documentation (i.e. ballooned drawings, inspection reports and other customer required documentation)
  • Creating inspection packages for shipment of product
  • Filing and archiving of inspection documents.
  • Scanning and maintaining certifications.
  • Managing computer files.
  • Communicating with customers and suppliers, via telephone and e-mail.
  • Working with other departments, such as, shipping and manufacturing.
  • Perform any duties that is requested on an as need basis with approval from the Quality Manger and or Upper Management.

Qualifications:

  • Must have Word, Excel, general computer skills, scanning, moving folders, renaming documents and folders.
  • Must be organized and able to multitask.
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Must be reliable.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
