Job DescriptionJob Description

Job Overview: As a HVAC and refrigeration technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and installation services on various HVAC and refrigeration systems. You will be required to work on a variety of equipment including air conditioning units, refrigeration units and ventilation systems. The position requires a strong technical aptitude, a commitment to safety, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Conduct inspections, diagnose problems, and repair or replace defective parts as needed
  • Install and maintain various types of HVAC and refrigeration systems
  • Test systems for proper operation and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Respond to emergency service requests and perform repairs as needed
  • Document all service activities, including equipment status, maintenance logs, and repair history
  • Collaborate with other team members and provide technical support as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC and refrigeration services
  • Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration principles, practices, and procedures
  • Familiarity with a variety of equipment including air conditioning units, refrigeration units and ventilation systems
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex problems
  • Strong technical aptitude and a commitment to safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
