What You’ll Do:

Provide each client with a uniquely exceptional experience before, during and after their leasing period. Demonstrates teamwork with the Copper Bay team focused on communication and accountability to deliver exceptional client experience. The Leasing Agent utilizes Appfolio Property Management software to manage the daily operation of all clients and properties. Leads are followed up with high urgency and clients are managed through application, execution of a lease and the collection of security deposit. The Copper Bay Leasing Agent is expected to demonstrate the qualities, competencies and collective capabilities identified within the Sustainable Competitive Advantage. 

LEASING:

  • Utilize Appfolio software for all leads, contacts, showings, applicants and leases
  • Contact all leads with high urgency to open dialog
  • Communicate with leads to understand their interests/needs and prequalify them in accordance with Copper Bay approval standards
  • Utilize marketing materials and set proper expectations
  • Schedule showings as necessary and follow up for feedback
  • Submit completed rental applications and all required documentation for approval
  • Collect signed leases digitally (including pet, yard maintenance and any other necessary addendums)
  • Ensure security deposit is collected
  • Close out marketing on leased homes
  • Communicate signed leases and move in dates to Copper Bay team
  • Facilitates communication between clients and Copper Bay team if necessary to ensure all funds are collected prior to move in
  • Communicates with clients and Copper Bay team if necessary if move in dates change and no longer work for the client

LEASE EXTENSIONS:

  • Send extension options 60 days prior to lease end dates
  • Communicate with tenants and obtain lease extension documents

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • One or more years of quota bearing sales experience or equivalent sales characteristics
  • Strong professional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
