We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team You will be responsible for the management and delivery of a national marketing effort with monthly large scale events requiring support. Prospective candidates will participate in a series of interviews to determine alignment to the project, its team members, and the corporate culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule projects across a multi-faceted government organization
  • Build and maintain master schedule and individual project schedules
  • Direct and lead the work of technical staff
  • Evaluate new strategies according to agency documentation and executive guidance
  • Ensure deadlines and cost targets are met
  • Maintain required project documentation
  • Serve as a liaison between business and technical representatives
  • Prepare briefing materials for the government lead

Qualifications:

  • 2-8 years working as a project manager, preferably within a federal agency, military service, or healthcare organization
  • Experience with creating integrated master schedules using Microsoft Project preferred, not required
  • PMP certification is preferred, not required
  • Previous experience in marketing, public affairs, event logistics, or other related fields
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Strong leadership qualities

The Program Manager shall:

a)     Act as coordinator of all task requirements, single point of contact, and overall subject matter expert for successful completion of this initiative.

b)     Establish clear organizational lines of authority and responsibility to ensure effective management of the resources assigned to this requirement.

c)     Provide CD with responsive, thorough, comprehensive, complete, and timely account program management services, which may include, but not limited to:

  •  Kick-off meetings
  • Bi-weekly progress meetings
  • Quarterly progress report
  • Quality control plan (QCP)
  • Contract status meetings
  • Budget status meetings
  • Project request forms
  • Material and data management

d)     Have access to systems that are used by Marine Corps and Contractor personnel in the execution of daily tasks, such as Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Creative platforms and equipment sufficient for employees to maintain connectivity and support with CD personnel while on the road, after hours, or other non-office location settings and time periods.

At a minimum, the Project Manager must meet the following criteria:

1)     MUST have experience planning and executing a national level campaign that includes multiple events and advertising across multiple channels (broadcast, print, web, streaming, billboards, etc., at least two of these).

  • At least one previous national-level campaign.
  • Must have direct experience involved with two or more events in different states.
  • Must have direct experience involved with two or more information or advertising channels.

2)     Must have demonstrated expertise in media relations, media pitches, etc. Must demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years of experience in media relations.

3)     Must have planned at least three (3) prior marketing strategies that either took place in different states (but not linked together), were executed across two or more events, or were executed across two or more advertising channels.
