As the Medical Receptionist/Enrollment Coordinator, you will work with patient support functions in managing and maintaining overall patient care duties and customer relationships for the department including contacting patients, physician office staff, insurance companies to ensure patient records are complete prior forwarding the file as appropriate for returns and/or rental interruptions.
Responsibilities:
· Referral intake and entry, patient support
· Responsible for inbound and outbound calls to patients, physicians, and product manufacturer partners
· Collects and validates proper documentation required by insurance plan
· Demonstrates accountability and responsiveness to the needs of the patients
· Assists with all pre-authorization requirements prior to shipping
· Creates initial claim requirements in EHR/Billing Software
· Updates workflow for reporting purposes
· Maintains accurate patient records
· Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information.
· Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department.
· Follows all Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and Private Insurance regulations and requirements.
· Abides by all regulations, policies, procedures and standards

Meets all productivity requirements within standard operating procedures. Demonstrates positive team behavior and promotes a team-oriented environment. Qualifications:
· High School diploma or GED equivalent
· Minimum of 6 months prior clinical experience
· Basic knowledge of billing procedures, insurance reimbursement procedures and HCPC codes preferred
· Proficient in Microsoft 365 Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and computer literacy
· Strong knowledge customer service and patient support.
· Ability to understand Medical Records documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
· Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
· Demonstrated ability to accurately perform data entry and pay close attention to detail.
