This position is at Hoosier Hills Marina, 10306 E Lick Fork Marina Rd, Celestine, IN  47521

Hoosier Hills Marina and The Idle Zone Restaurant & Bar are looking for a motivated and energetic individual to add to our team The positions will assist the owners in running the marina store and restaurant. This is a full time year round position but, could be part time.

Individual should have strong communication ability and a responsible strong/dependable work ethic.

Primary responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily operations of the store and restaurant
* Ensure inventory is out and the store is orderly and clean
* Help in the Store/Kitchen/Bar with Owners during the Open Season
* Work with Owners to plan scheduling and recruiting/training
* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service

- Growth Opportunities for candidates wanting more experience: Help with Social Media Accounts, Leadership role in the
Store/Restaurant, Inventory Planning and Merchandise Ideas including Restaurant Menu Options.

- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures (Food Safety, Bar Requirements and Internal Policies)

-Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards

 

Qualifications:

- High School Degree or equivalent

- Food Safety Certification & Servers License required (can be obtained after hiring and will be paid by the Business)

- Effective organization and time management skills, like prioritization, multitasking and planning

- Ability to work independently and in team environments

- Great customer service skills, including a personable and positive attitude- Dependable and high level of integrity

- Good computer skills - ability to use Word/Excel or other software is a strong plus

- Past retail/restaurant experience is a plus

- Weekend Availability during Peak Season. Off Season is Monday through Friday.

- Ability to follow processes and provide input on improvements

The preferred candidate will have strong customer service skills, and ability to communicate well with customers, staff and owners. The position is not limited and can grow as the business grows. The position is a Year-Round position. Off Season this position is on a Monday through Friday Schedule; Peak season weekends and Holiday availability required. Flexible scheduled time off is available and the full time position includes paid vacation and 401k type plan with match option.

As the business is diverse there is tremendous opportunity to support all areas of the business and grow along the way. The business includes Hoosier Hills Marina, Patoka Lake Boat Sales and The Idle Zone Restaurant & Bar. Compensation will be determined by the individual experience and responsibility that they take on. Peak Season staffing requires Weekend Availability. Scheduling is specific to the position posted so, please review the Job Description. Compensation may include: 401K style investment matching and paid vacation, unpaid/flexible time off and other possible benefits. We do not offer Health Care at this time but, is being evaluated for some candidates.
