To support our rapid growth, we are seeking a highly skilled and highly motivated Staff Accountant to join our team You will be preparing reports, maintaining general ledgers and keeping up with the company’s tax obligations. Responsibilities:

· Participate in month-end close, prepare and enter journal entries

· Reconcile various balance sheet and income statement accounts and provide department analytics.

· Review financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance

· Prepare and file tax returns

· Organize and update financial records

· Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue

· Analyzes accounting and financial records by researching and interpreting data.

· Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

· Prepare documents for audits

· Apply new accounting policies and ensure compliance with rules and regulations

· Reconcile bank statements

· Assists with budgeting and forecasting

Qualifications:

· 2-4 years’ experience with general staff accounting

· Associate’s degree in accounting, bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred

· Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

· Strong mathematical and analytical skills

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Ability to read and analyze financial reports

· Understanding of US tax regulations

· Works well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

· Experience working in a manufacturing environment-preferred
