Position: Assistant to the Doctor and Patient Care Coordinator

Job Description:

The ideal candidate for this role will possess a blend of exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. As the Assistant to the Doctor and Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive the highest level of care and service.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient care with the doctor
  • Prepare patients for their visit by educating them on the nature and benefits of health care services and products; explaining prescribed supplements and treatment recommendations given by the doctor
  • Perform routine administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying information received from patients, and collecting payment
  • Prepare charts, scanning documents, documenting procedures; and filing patient charts
  • Communicate with patients by phone, text, or email to answer questions and schedule appointments; emailing or faxing documents as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Compassionate, friendly, upbeat with a positive attitude
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in computer skills
  • Must be available for all hours - approximately 30 hours per week with some Sat. morning hours
