  • SUPPLIES: Keep cemetery office and chapel stocked with ribbons, prayer cards, candles, education materials, marketing materials, and other supplies needed for funeral services.
  • ADMINISTRATION: Document sales and quit claims in the physical and digital plot maps and books. Provide regular reporting of activities as required. Respond to genealogical and family research requests.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • High level attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at any given time
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all staff
  • Open to ongoing learning about the funeral industry and Jewish burial traditions and practice
  • Intermediate to advanced technology skills, preferably with prior experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint), funeral home database systems and California’s EDRS.

EXPECTATIONS

  • Ability to physically navigate SINAI’s various funeral home environments, including walking on various indoor and outdoor surfaces, including grass, gravel, climbing stairs, and using elevators
  • Absolute discretion and confidentiality with an attitude of attentiveness, respect, decorum, & solemnity.

COMPENSATION
